I have yet to comment on homosexuals, but today I fell I need to straighten out the world so here goes.
Homosexuality is not the equivalent to heterosexuality. Homosexuality is deviant and self-destructive behaviour. Making this statement does not mean I am intolerant and it is not homophobia.
Tolerance means to TOLERATE!. The problem with the liberal/left is they get the word tolerance and the word agreement mixed up. This is the greatest country the world has ever seen and the most tolerant. Homosexuals have tolerance, do not expect others to think that homosexuality is the equivalent of heterosexuality or even that it is a good idea. Grow up and face the facts, people think your wrong and it is their right to do so.
My statement is not homophobia. If I were suggesting that all the homosexuals be rounded up and shipped off to a concentration camp in North Dakota, that would be homophobia. I realize that the notion of being seized by burley men in uniform and transported to a place were there are nothing but like minded people is probably appealing to most homosexuals, but even then, I don’t think that it would be a good idea.
Marriage has been, in every culture, country and on every continent through out history the institution of a man and a women. The idea that we need to change that after a couple of decades of parades down 6th avenue in Greenwich Village, is a rather childish commitment to change and not an adult commitment to reason or thinking.
The liberal/left always point out that a homosexual couples have financial issues because they can’t marry, that is a money issue and not a marriage issue. The money issue can be resolved through contracts.
If you want to get married, no one is going to stop you. I am sure that you find some pseudo-official that is more than willing to speak some incantation over you and your significant other, but making it the equivialent of heterosexual marriage when homosexuals represent about three per cent of the population, that’s delusional and narcisstic.
No one is preventing homosexuals from living their life the way they want to, just don’t expect agreement.
