‘‘If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
—Samuel Adams
Don Imus Again June 25, 2008

You may recall that I had postulated that the reason Don Imus was being pilloried in the press was because the Duke Rape case had gone against the professional race baiters. Since the Duke Rape case had been resolved in a way that the black woman who claimed rape turned out to be a wack-job and the white lacrosse students were completely exonerated, the professional race baiters had to regain control of the national race conversation, that is when Don Imus stepped up.
Well dandy Don has done it again, of course we must take a look at the context of Don’s race comment. That, of course, leads us to the Columbia Professor who got fired. It seems obvious that this individual is another wack-job and her allegations of racism are to say the least, nonsense. She got fired, for plagarism. Her allegations of rampant racism at Columbia are being ignored and rightly so. So the professional race baitors need, once again, to regain control of national race conversation and once again Don Imus steps up and provides them with the object of scorn that is needed.
Did you notice how fast the Duke Rape case dropped off the radar screen when Don Imus popped up. Notice how fast the Columbia professor has dropped off the radar screen, once again, Dom Imus has popped up. Do you see a pattern here?
The professional race baiters are about power, not about ending racism.

You remember that professor from the Columbia School of Ed who claimed to have had a noose put on her door knob. The one who I speculated had done it herself. Well, she got canned.
Occasionally, things go right.
