One of my favorite books is “You’re Stepping on My Cloak and Dagger” by Roger Hall. Enormously funny and written by the iconoclast that I aspire to be, Mr Hall takes on rigid following of convention and the Nazis. In his obituary, the Times says this book is used in CIA training with the admonition of “Never let this happen again”.

I have always found those WASP’y type women, you know the cashmere sweater and pearls set, to be the most feminine. Something about them makes me want to bend them over the kitchen table and make them howl like an Irish setter.

Unfortunately, they don’t feel the same way about me.

Being a U.S. Senator is not an entry-level position. If she had been, say, the mayor of Wassila Alaska first, then she would have least “made her bones”.  There are individuals who have better resumes and they should be considered first.

He should not go to prison. Putting this guy up in a prison for the rest of his life would be a waste of the taxpayers money.

Make this guy sell everything he owns and put it into a fund to pay back the people he swindled. Then, make him get a job and spend the rest of his life paying into the aforementioned fund. Put a tracking bracelet on him and make him pay for that too.

That would be justice.

The best time is Sunday afternoon around 3, let me tell you why.

The go getters get to the laundromat at 10 AM and are done by 1. The late starters get there around 1 and are finishing up with the dryers around 3. The leave it to the last minutes types won’t get there until 5 at the earliest. At 3, everyone else has either finished or won’t get there for another couple of hours so the washers are almost all available, with the exception of those who put their clothes in the washers and started the machines and then abandoned them.
