Screaming Lunatic

The liberal/left know that if they want to really restructure American society, they need to make changes to the constitution. They also know that they could never get the votes to do that, so the next best thing is reinterpret the laws as they currently exist. Remember Sotomayors comment, the courts are where really policy is made. That is Sotomayors real purpose. There are 5 goals that appointing her the liberal/left want to accomplish.

The first two are short term political goals with immediate returns. Appoint a latina and a lesbian to the court. Every amateur politician understands this and the expected impact. The last three are  long term, far more insidious and require a great deal more to happen first.

The three long term goals are 1) the repeal of the Defense of Marriage act, 2) the repeal of the 2nd amendment and lastly the repeal of the first amendment. Now the first of these is obvious to anyone, it’s the last two that cause confusion, but of course, I am here to explain it.

The 2nd amendment, the “right to bear arms” will be reinterpreted as a “group” right and not a individual right. This will enable all governments, Federal, state and local, to tax, license and restrict weapons of any kind completely out of existence. Effectively, the amendment will be repealed in all but name. This is required before any attempt at redefining the first amendment can take place.

The repeal of the first amendment will occur when “Hate Speech” is outlawed. The rationale will be that some words are so destructive and have so much negative history, that merely uttering them could be construed as a threat to some people.  Of course, anytime you disagree with the liberal/left you will labeled as a “hater” that has to be investigated and possibly prosecuted, that won’t be immediately apparent to the sheeple that currently live in the U.S. This will effectively end the first amendment in name only.

Now the liberal/left do not have 5 sure votes on SCOTUS. They will have one, Sotomayor. She is just the beginning. If Obama can he will change the country’s thought on the Bill Of Rights and he will do it “where policy is really made”, SCOTUS. He just needs four more like minded people.

This entire revival of the CIA and torture brouhaha is NOT about uncovering the nefarious dealings of the CIA. The whole thing is about getting Nancy Pelosi. Let me explain.

The most powerful person in Washington is,of course, BO. Since he took office he has made a historical power grab unprecedented in American history. Now, the ONLY person who can challenge that power is the second most powerful person in Washington. Most people think that is the Vice President, but alas that is a common mistake. The Vice President has only two responsibilities, first make sure the President is still alive, second to break a voting tie in the Senate. Since BO is young and healthy the first is not likely to concern anyone and since the Democrats control the Senate with a filibuster-proof majority it is unlikely that “Joltin Joe” Biden will be called on to participate in any significant way in Washington.

Now some of you are going to say “What about Dick Cheney”, look at what he did. Every time the Democratic leadership brings up Dick Cheney, the liberal/left followers heads spin around and they start talking in tongues. THAT is the reason the democratic leadership bring up Dick Cheney, they are trying to get the liberal/left followers to buy into this “investigation” into the CIA and torture. Remember, the vice-president has virtually no power. If the VP ordered people to do ANYTHING, they could ignore it without any repercussions.  Dick Cheney is the strawman to get the troops all marching in the right direction.

The second most powerful person in Washington is………..wait for it……….the speaker of the house.  Currently that person is Nancy Pelosi. When the CIA was considering waterboarding people, being good government bureaucrats and knowing they need to keep the second most powerful person on there side if they wanted to continue to get funding, they kept Nancy P well informed. I am willing to go out on a limb here and say that Nancy was made aware of waterboarding, but gave her whole hearted approval.  She didn’t want to be seen as soft on terrorism and frankly I think approving waterboarding is probably in character for her.

As the “investigation” goes forward, Dick Cheney will drop off the radar screen. Once his job is done, that of motivating the liberal/left troops to buy into the special prosecutor, he will no longer warrant time with White House or the media. He is old news and he is out of power, he will be quickly forgotten.

But, as the “investigation” goes forward, watch the press time given to Pelosi increase and sooner or later memos will be leaked, peoples notes will be leaked and the attention of the press will increasingly focus on Nancy.

The goal here is simple, make Nancy’s reelection impossible. If she is no longer a member of the house, she is no longer the speaker. Then BO and Rahm “The Prince of Darkness”  Emmanual can get someone who is completely in the tank for Obama. All democractic congressman will be told, “vote for my guy and you will find things working for you, don’t vote for my guy and any federal program in your district will suffer”. BO wants a good little soldier who is in the tank for him in place at the speakers office. This will give him the most control of the federal government that any President has ever had. The only person in Washington right now that can stand up to Obama is Pelosi and the White House can’t tolerate that.

Mark my words, three years after the special prosecutor has been appointed, Nancy P is no longer speaker of the house and probably no longer a member of congress.

So I take the bus this morning and most of the seats are taken. I ask one lady to move her luggage so I might sit in the seat. She does, on to the floor where my feet have to go. I shove the luggage over so I can get my foot and my prosthesis out of isle she informs me that I better not touch her bag and then flashes some goverment ID at me, clearly a threat.

Next time, I’ll get her name and the government organization she works for and give them a call. I wonder what her boss would say about her using her government ID to get her luggage a seat.

I decided that since we had some functions here at work this past Saturday, that I would come in around 8:30 and make sure everything was up and running in time.

Well I park at the Palisade Mall and take the Tappan Zee Express over the bridge to catch a train at the White Plains train station. Fast forward to  about 7:10 in the morning and the driver misses his exit just before White Plains. There we were  on 287 heading towards Connecticut when the driver realizes he missed his exit. He stops, right on 287 and announces to everyone on the bus he needs help finding his way back to White Plains. We drive further along  and he suddenly figures out a way to get headed back in the other  direction. Now he gets off at a different exit and we end up driving in this behemoth of a bus through the back streets of White Plains. Eventually through luck and happenstance, he finds the White Plains trans center and the passengers can all get off and make their train, which I did. The late train, but I did make to work just as the security guard unlocked the rooms.

The day was far from over.

The bus ride home, one of society’s less successful people got on the bus and he was well into his cups. He gets on his cell phone and begins a conversation with Tony loud enough so everyone one the bus hears. Apparently he needs money and he is negotiating with Tony. If Tony gives him money, he would be willing to kill someone for Tony. The driver pulls over and tells him to pipe down, which he does for a few seconds and then he engages in a cuss fest directed at the driver. The driver gets on his cell and speaks with the main office asking how to contact the police. Fortunately, we make it to Tarrytown station where the offending passenger gets off. We continue on without incident.

That was my saturday.

Being disabled and in my fifties I am well aware that even if the economy were roaring along, my chance of getting another job is slim. So I am also aware that in 1825 days, or 4 years 11 months and 30 days, I will be able to tap into my retirement funds, not that I want to. Knowing when I no longer have to fear being out of work , is something I should keep track of.

So I am walking from my car to my office this morning. In front of my building a female student, walking the other way, is talking on the phone. She announces loudly “I took a shower this morning and this is the first time I have done that before class…..all year!”

College students, ya gotta love them………………from a distance of course.

So last night I am sitting watching Dylan and Fast Money while eating dinner. Apparently something went down the wrong pipe and I had to cough to clear my throat. When I coughed the third and last time, Dylan said “I guess sometimes you have to clear the pipes”.

Indeed.
