Before you read the rest of this missive, go here and read this little human interest story. There are a bunch of things that need correction and comment.

First off, the Rabbi in the article, Lerner, states that the womens movement was a grass roots movement. This feeds ino the Liberal/Left fantasy that they are acting on behalf of the majority of people and therefore in everyones best interest. In fact, the womens movement was started by the Liberal/Left elite and for the most part, to this day, the womens movement is of little concern to the average women.

Secondly, the “spritual covenant” that he talks about weaves the eco movement into it by including the phrase “ecological sensitivity”. That is the tip off that the spritual convenant is bogus and nothing more than the usual liberal/left delusions.

Then Lerners hits us all up for more pay for teachers. The teachers unions are some of the most stridently liberal organizations in the U.S. In my experience, this has little to do with education and a whole lot to do with empire building.

Along with more liberal/left rhetoric, most of which is just that rhetoric and no real interest in liberty. Some of my favorite phrases are “liberation struggle”, “womens struggle for equal pay” and you know when they use the word progressive what they mean is “do it our way or you’re a racist, sexist homophobe who really wants to kill everyone”.

Of course, as long as the liberal/left continue to adhere to the ridiculus notion that only THEY are the true harbingers of justice and fairness, they will continue to be marginalized.
