The Constellation Orion September 25, 2006

I got up early this morning to go to work. When I came out of the house, it was still dark and the stars were out. Off in the eastern part of the sky was the constellation Orion, the first time since spring I have been able to see it. The sky was all clear and the stars shone as bright as a winters night. Orion is the first real sign that winters coming. The leaves have yet to turn, but Orion is out in the early morning.
